John Robinson Leopold (born February 4, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American politician and was formerly a member of the Maryland House of Delegates. Leopold was elected as a Republican for the Anne Arundel County Executive 2006 election. Leopold represented Maryland's District 31 from 1983 to 1991 and from 1995 to 2006. Leopold unsuccessfully challenged Philip C. Jimeno for a Senate Seat in 1990. Before moving to Maryland, Leopold was a long-time resident of Hawaii.
